Appraisal Skills Level 1 (VTQ) Training Videos

This first section introduces you to your Appraisal Skills course, and how the training works. We then give you an overview of the course content, and an introduction to appraisals.

There are different people involved in the appraisal process, and in this section you will learn more about this. You will learn about the benefits of having an appraisal, and we give you guidance on how the appraisal should take place. We show you what should be included during an appraisal, and how you can prepare for one. We also talk about additional considerations that may need to be taken into account. In the final few videos we talk about reviewing achievements, communication during an appraisal meeting, setting personal goals, and then finally, how to summarise an appraisal.

In this section we have a role play of an appraisal meeting. This is a great chance to see all the previous videos put into action.

In the summary, we summarise the course and explain how the test works, the downloads on the course and how you can review any part of the course before the test or after you have passed it.
